Kiwanis Club of Temecula Valley

Provides support for Quilt Show

Temecula – Members of the Kiwanis Club of Temecula Valley helped to support the 19th Annual Old Town Temecula Outdoor Quilt Show on Saturday, October 7th, according to Tom Teagle, president of the high-profile local service club.

“The Quilt Show was a fantastic community service project for our Kiwanis Club and the eleven high schools Key Clubs we sponsor to participate in,” said Teagle. “We had over thirty Key Clubbers along with a dozen Kiwanians assist with hanging, providing security for, and taking down hundreds of beautiful Quilts made by the Valley of the Mist Quilters Guild.” Teagle added that nearly five dozen of these exquisite, high quality woven pieces of artwork were live auctioned, both in person, in front of the Old Town Theatre, and online, in with all the proceeds going to local charities in the community.

“This was a job well done by everyone involved, and our members and Key Clubbers were honored to assist once again,” Teagle said, noting that this is just one of many community service projects that the Kiwanis Club of Temecula Valley proudly supports.
